Well, I took a break from shaving for most of this month. I caught Covid and had to quarantine for a while, so I decided to grow a beard until the end of the month. Anyways, I’m back for Austere August. I think I may have gone a bit crazy, because I decided to go scentless this year. Of course I had to go with my favorite Tusk base, it is Mammoth month after all. I’m also using the gentlest razor I own for this month, in the Era. I’m already looking forward to the end of this month, but I’m hoping it will give me a greater appreciation of my den. Todays shave went well, the Era mowed down two weeks of growth without an issue.

Well, I can’t believe it happened this quickly. I think that by day two I have gone noseblind. I can no longer smell any of the lovely fragrance that this soap has to offer. I am honestly kind of worried and I am considering consulting my local physician to see if something is actually wrong with my nose. Other than not being able to smell anything, I had a great effortless shave.
