    2 pass shave with a 20 second load. I actually enjoy this set up, and I believe its great for my skin. A sharp blade with an efficient razor plus a slick lather can't be beat. I guess a little wisdom I gained this past year using an MMOC is to avoid buffing the first week of shaves. The chin area is where this mainly applies to in my shaves. I am actually intrigued to read some of the first time users experience to just to see how they fare from last years.

    2 pass shave with a 30 second load. Got some heavy soap scum build up occurring. Some non-GEMs of wisdom: Enter the month of August with only 2 soaps options available (Bare Siero and Arko) and you'll be less worried about missing out on all the smells in your shave den.

Browsing the weekly photos submission, and thought it would be cool if the various side contests all could get on the banner some point this month.

    2 pass shave with a 30 second load. An atypical dry lather for the first pass but no nicks. I just realized the GEMsOfWisdom is based on points. Some 2 cents is that I grip the razor closer to the head, and I haven't had issues. Also I got a puppy recently https://imgur.com/a/bW9pXNL

    2 pass shave with a 30 second load. This is the second Monday in a row that I forget my post shave. Yesterday I went to the driving range in the middle of the day, and got a little sun. My face was a little tender during the shave. A thing I have noticed from the few times spans that I shaved daily is my problem areas go away/disappear.

    2 pass shave with a 30 second load. After 2 years of AA with this soap (plus 10-15 other shaves in the year) there seems to be about a months worth left. This soap/base is probably my favorite, but I might switch to the regular base just because of cost. I plan on killing this tub at the end of the year, and I purchased a couple soaps from Summer Break Soaps. This razor has become my favorite to use over the past year, since the efficiency just works with my skin. The blade seemed to dull down more than I remembered from last year. The last 5-8 shaves left my face with unnoticeable stubble.
