The lather was my best ever! I feel like i could get rid of my lather bowl. was it the soap? was it Porky? Shrug City, y’all. We’ll see how it goes.

Your pal Pigface is back to tell you all about Day 2. I got my fistful of ham hock wetter today. Yesterday was a bit pasty, and I wanted to thin it out. It’s hard to do it on my Canvas, so I figured I’d use a wetter tool. Much slicker this time, and the third time I’ve ever said “Best Shave Ever!” I just wish I couldn’t smell a horde of dead orcs all day long.

The brush is ugly as sin, but I might actually like it’s feel the best. On Sept 1, this Bad Larry is getting the bath of all baths. The next one I buy will sit in a bath of lemon juice and baking soda for a week. I will never smell like this again.

Shave Numero Three: Near Dark

I was too busy this morning, so I had to wait until after The Boy’s (8) football practice. I just did ATG and XTG, since I’ll be shaving again in the morning. Still stinks; still a great shave. I think I’ll be a two pass guy the rest of the month.

I say it still stinks, but it’s lessening. Like a piece of bacon you fried yesterday, put in a baggie in the fridge, then pulled it out the next morning and let it sit. A very “grey” smell.

Augie Hoggie the Fourth

Practice was canceled due to rain. I shaved after work again, so as not to abuse my face. Another great shave, and another attack on my sense of smell.

Imagine a ramekin of bacon bits soaking in a pint of water. Let it sit on a window sill for an hour whenever your summer occurs. The put that in a spray bottle, and spritz yourself. Sounds stupid, doesn’t it? What kind of person would think up a challenge like this? Who would suggest this during SUMMER BREAK?

SOAP’S doing well for me, and so is the Brassbird. I have two Karves that are gonna go away due to this. I just gotta source a heavier handle.

My fifth shave of Hogust

 It was quick and dirty, today. Submerged the brush, let it dangle for a second or two, then dropped it right on the soap.  Five actual swirls, and I applied that to my face. Really slick and watery. I loved it. A very passable shave.

 A good way to not notice the scent is to be yelling at an 8 year old who’s fighting with his 3 year old sister. I may open up bidding on their adoptions.

Pretty sure I spent more time upvoting everyone’s top level comment than I spent shaving. Rough weekend. Two passes for the masses. Fill the sink. Drop in brush and razor. Oil da skin. Dress the pig. Slap it on the oiled skin. Remove it with the bird. Splash da skin. Balm it. Go feed the family.

Took my time this morning. TGIM? It’s like I’m in kitchens again. Monday means relief. Nice, leisurely shave. Light caseload in the OR. Ate some ginger snaps at football practice. Stress released.

The shave was DFS+++. Not quite BBS, but close enough for government work. This little piggy is still exceeding expectations. I’d have never bought a boar on my own. Thanks, Reddit.

I’m getting anxious about the blade. This is the longest I’ve used one. I’m flipping comrade after each shave. I don’t know if that helps, but it isn’t hurting.

Barely a third of the way in, and I’m looking forward to September 1. A brand new blade. My Lambda Athena instead of the Brassbird. Drowning myself in fragrance like my mother in law.

I shaved every other day before AA. Shaving daily has helped me notice my consistent errors. It’s nice to get better at a thing.
