Today was my first time posting here and participating in these challenges. I have watched by the sideline for a little bit and watched and learned from others. Today's shave was the first full 3 Shave pass I have done with a shavette as part if the headless horsemen shave. The shave was a little rough and I didn't get a close as I would have liked but here is to learning how to get better at it. Brush for these shaves will be a cheap $5 Burma Shave Boar Brush that I found at a local store. Man did this things shed a ton at the beginning. Hope I don't lose to many otherwise I will be lathering with a handle at the end. Unboxing and SOTD. Today's music is I get around by the Beach Boys. I really enjoy listening to this song because it was my late Grandpa's favorite song. Everything that I hear this song I am reminded of him and how much time I enjoyed with him. Shave was pretty good today for my second use with this razor. Did a three pass shave on cheeks and two on neck. WTG, XTG, and XTG on cheeks. WTG and ATG on neck. I got a closer shave than yesterday and less razor burn than yesterday. Thanks for the help figuring out the angle. Still need to work on my pressure though. Here is to a better shave tomorrow.

Today was by far the best shave that I have had today with my Kamisori Shavette. I did a two pass shave because I didn't have much grow with the closer shave from yesterday. Got almost a DFS but definitely a CCS plus. The boar brush is starting to break in nicely. Could have loaded longer for a better lather but for a moment I think I will relather between passes. Looking forward to a great shave tomorrow and to se how far this blade can go. I am going to see if I can push it the 31 days.

Three pass shave today. Shave was pretty smooth. Cheeks got a BBS bit neck still has some small amount of stubble. Still trying to learn angles to get the swirls that are on my neck to at least get a DFS like I do with my DE razors. It may just be the guarded blade that won't allow me to do it but I will probably try with a Schick Proline blade when done with this month.

Three pass shave tonight. It was alright. Cheeks went fine but still trying to figure out angle on my neck. Got 1 weeper on my neck because I use to much pressure. Trying to push this blade all 31 days. So far still sharp. The boar brush is breaking in nicely for being so cheap. Not so scratchy anymore and is softening nicely. Lost only like 3 hairs instead of like the 20 I lost on day one.

Boar brush breaking in nicely. The tips felt soft with some backbone. Interested to see what the end of the month this brush will feel like. Three pass shave on cheeks and two on neck felt great. Shave was close and only opened up 1 weeper from yesterday.

Today's shave wasn't bad. Skin was a little irritated today and the blade got a little rough going against the grain on my throat area but was fine everywhere else. Most of my irritation was there so hopefully this blade is still going strong. Going to try and push this blade to the Nightmare mode of this challenge. Really like my shavette shaves. So far I have gotten my cheeks down to a BBS and my neck is getting to DFS today with the little irritation from yesterday. Learning to lighten up on pressure and angles on my neck. I don't ever shoot for BBS on my neck though so as to avoid irritation and ingrown hairs because my neck is really sensitive. Here is to another good shave tomorrow.

So far this brush is breaking in really nicely. Face feel is good and it doesn't eat the lather like it use to. The ProGuard blade is on its 8th use and still feels good. Brought the Shavette closer in angle to my face and got a lot nicer of a shave than I had been getting. Looking forward to taking this blade through the end for a Nightmare Mode AA.

Did a quick two pass shave WTG and ATG because I was on call for the OR and got called back in so I had to finish up quickly. Shave went great blade still going great. Got a CCS and felt great. Brush held the lather great and whipped up great.

Shave today wasn't as good as it could have been. I managed a close enough shave out of it. I wrung to much water out of the soap and didn't get a good load if soap which lead to to airy of a lather and not slick enough of a lather. The Kamisori wanted to grab instead of glide. No weepers but could have gotten closer if it was a better lather. Here is to more learning tomorrow with this brush now that it has broken in well. Going to leave it a little wetter tomorrow.

Getting pretty good at using this Kamisori. Did a quick 3 pass shave today because I was going to meet up with my parents for dinner for my Dad's birthday. Shave was good with mo redness or irritation. Face felt nice and soft after shaving and applying my balm. The Burma Brush is breaking in nicely. Lost one hair today. The tips if the brush are less scratchy than when I first started. They now feel like a pure badger brush does. Day 13 using the same blade. It feels weird to say that because this is the longest I have used any blade. The blade seems like it will make it to the 31 day mark. May just have to do an extra pass and deal with a little tugging here and there but we will see if that ever happens.

Did a three pass shave today that went pretty well got a DFS even on my neck. Shave felt pretty comfortable today. Lather was extremely well hydrated and cushiony. It provided enough protection and enough lather for all three passes. Tips felt nice and soft with just enough backbone. Blade is on its 11th use and still fells like it is going good. Hope it makes it through until the 31st day.

Three pass shave today went pretty good. The blade on it's 12th use has smoothed out from the 10th shave were it felt rough. The Burma Shave brush is still feeling good and is getting better each day. The soap is providing great slickness and I am figuring out just how much water to add to make sure that I get a good wet lather for shaving with the shavette.

Today's three pass shave was a little rough at the end because I was trying to rush the shave so I could have dinner and was adding to much pressure. I got a weeper and some slight redness on neck. Blade may have also been rough but we will see tomorrow if it smooths out. Lather today was great it is probably what saved me from more damage. It was a nice wet, slick, and protective lather that lasted for all 3 passes. Here is to good shaves for everyone tomorrow.

Shave was just ok today. The blade wasn't as smooth as it has been. The lather was good and slick and helped. I have some bumps and I believe an ingrown hair from yesterday's shave so trying to work around that. Got a close shave but not as close as I have been getting but didn't want to chase the BBS so 3 passes and done for me.

Three pass shave tonight went fine. Blade wasn't as smooth as it has been and honestly I don't ever push a blade this far, I at most use a blade 3 times and then bin it. With my coarse and dense beard more DE blades don't last long. Artist Club razors last longer but I probably would have stopped around 12 to 14 uses normally with it. Brush still feels good and tips are breaking in nicely. Brush isn't as nice as my Professional 49, Semogue 610, or Zenith B22. Have a great day, and have a great shave.

The 2 passes WTG and XTG was fine. The ATG not so much. I ended up with 2 to 3 weepers and felt really tuggy. Could just be the usual Blade getting rough and then smooths out. I will see with tomorrow's shave but I may not use it to go ATG on my neck depending on the result. On the face ATG felt fine though.

First shave I am doing in September 1st is going to be all my favorite things and then the next is something different because all the monotony of this month has really put me in a funk. The variety made it fun, but just a few more days of misery and I can enjoy all the new stuff I bought this month because I was having withdrawals lol 😆. Three pass shave tonight felt great. I have noticed that my shaves are better when I play music while I shave. Don't know if that calms my ADHD down or what not but it allows me to focus better and pay more attention to my pressure and angle. I also feel like the shaves go quicker when I do that. Almost at the end of the tub of Stirling Sheep so getting enough lather has been fun since you have to hold it so close to the rim to gather enough soap. Luckily I have like 2 more refills so no need to worry about running out after this month. 1 more day left until I go back to trying new products. Definitely going to give some of my new razors and products though a two week trial before trying something else because if I learned anything from this month it would be that reputuon allows you to develop better technique. MRTNG'S Ultra Nightmare Mode, Headless Horsman, and Raw Hoggin Completed and so happy to be able to use some of my new products that came in this month starting tomorrow, and to use a new fricking blade in a DE razor. Don't get me wrong I am glad that I took the headless horsemen challenge and used my Kai Kasho Kamisori with an AC blade all month because I learned a new skill and am looking forward to using more shavettes and possibly straights in my SOTDs going forward, even if it's only on the weekends when I have more time. Three pass shave tonight went well. The boar brush really changed over the month and has gotten softer, bloomed more, and doesn't eat as much lather. Looking forward to breaking it in some more as well as my other new ones that I purchased during this month because since I couldn't use anything else my mind said let's buy some more things we can't use right now. For tonights #sidetracked challenge I listened to one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite movies. That song is Johnny B Goode by Chuck Berry from the movie Back To The Future. Love that movie because I am into sci-fi and love the idea of time travel. Love the song because I got introduced to it by my Grandpa that passed. When he passed I got his cassette player and tapes. One of them was a greatest hits of Chick Berry and this was the first song on that tape. So when I found this movie when I was younger I fell in love with it immediately because it reminded me of him. I also love the guitar shredding scene in the movie.
