Wow, almost forgot to do the AA sotd today! Good shave, got a real good lather today with the boar brush. I am now doing 1.5 passes per day, as the scruff near jaw was bugging me, so do XTG a bit, but not entire face. I do have a question for those of you using same blade for 31 days, do you do anything to prevent rust on it? I notice some tea rust stains creeping from under, have not removed blade from razor since I started AA, wondering if I should to let it dry out.

Dan Reeder is the man. Buddy of mine from grad school tracked him down in Germany and we bought paintings of his directly from him. Really weird dude but he was nice as hell and basically sold them to us at a loss. That painting hangs in my office.

2 passes, 0 complaints. This brush feels fucking amazing on the face, a good deep scrub if I splay it hard with 0 scritch. Absolute treat to use!

Another great day today. I was off so hiked, cooked, and pulled a good amount of oriental bittersweet from an area of my yard. Will update in 3 or 4 days if I am covered in poison ivy. Here’s to hoping no.

A 2 pass shave, again in a rush but the shave was uneventful. Using the Artist Club razor for continuous shaves is imparting some muscle memories and the only thing I've to watch out for is overconfidence.

Today's shave seemed smoother than the past few. The jury is still out on the MMOC for me. Yeah, it works, but I don't think I'd reach for it frequently.
