Day 13th of AA, not going so bad. Brush works, holds its lather now, and is an enjoyable shave. I don't think all the tips have split yet, was grabbing some at random and trying to check, but probably enough to make it feel comfortable. Still enjoying waterlyptus, overall just a great scent in a great long lasting base.

Apparently all the stars aligned this morning and I had one of the easiest shaves I’ve had in a long time. I would assume that it’s the continued use of the same products 13 days straight, but I’m not sure I’m that quick a learner. Hope everyone else’s shave went just a smooth. #MAMMOTHMAFIA #UNCHALLENGE

A nice shave after mowing the crab grass. Not much different than the past few days. I’m hopefully going to shave in the mornings in the second half of next week so I can smell the soap longer. Late night shaving is the one factor that prevents me from using scented aftershaves/balms more often. I can’t sleep as well and also don’t get to enjoy I’m the scent while I’m asleep. With the current job, probably won’t change my routine. Would need something where I’m not up so early, a welcome change I would think (except for the wallet). #UNCHALLENGE

After almost a fortnight of using GFT Violets soap, I opened my box of soaps and spent a good half and hour smelling them.

I've found that B&M Cheshire is growing on me and Le Grand Chypre is divine to my nose.

Heck, I'm considering the B&M Hallows as pleasant scent (I love it but pleasant was never the description I'd use), and any sweet scented soap (Stirling Evie) has started feeling too sweet after using GFT Violets.

Shave: it went as well as it could have. I'm instinctively using a combined WTG/XTG pass as my first pass, that seems to be working for me. Second pass is purely XTG pass.

I've been burned (or rather suffered an irritation in skin) if I go ATG pass consecutive days, so when I'm shaving daily, I avoid it altogether.
