#GEMsofWisdom This edge of the blade is ok. It feels a wee bit rough, but I'm pretty damn near BBS 23 days in. And the splash didn't cause too much feedback. Fingers crossed this blade can hold on for 8 more shaves.

#Sidetracked Growing up in Miami, the only thing I knew about the J. Geils Band was the Freeze Frame album. "Centerfold" and "Freeze Frame" were played to death on rock radio when I was in junior high. It wasn't until I was djing on a classic rock radio station after college here in Northern New England that I realized there was a whole awesome catalog of J. Geils albums. These guys were killing it in the classic blues rock game and Magic Dick's harmonica game was fucking strong (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASF5CpqP6HY). Their albums were a giant party on vinyl and their live shows were legendary. Peter Wolf continues to tour on his own and the wife and I have seen him a bunch of times and he never disappoints.
