It was difficult for me to rate this as an "average" shave. The whole shaving experience was excellent, but the result was just below what I would call a DFS. Post-shave feel is great, and there's no irritation. Before I got into wetshaving, I would have been happy with this as a daily shave but my standards are much higher now.

Today's edge image is the first from my new microscope. I spent hours with this thing yesterday, and have a way to go on the learning curve before I'm confident with it. Nonetheless, the image is much better than the schlock I've been producing.
