Only 3 more shaves! With the newborn, shaving everyday is not always something I'm looking forward to. Anyway, the blade is still going strong. Let's see how much can I get.

For my third installment of u/teufelskraft's #sidetracked challenge, I'd like to put on the table this cover of Ray Charles' I Don't Need No Doctor. There are countless covers of this song. While I do like Ray Charles' (which is actually a cover itself, but more famous than the original release), the John Scoffield, and later John Mayer version is more appealing to me. While I always considered JM more of a pop artist. He's got very interesting eras, such as John Mayer Trio, or the Where the light is album. While I wouldn't call him a virtuoso, I enjoy the groove, funk, and feeling he gives to his music. The other versions I do like are the ones derived from Humble Pie's version, including WASP's and even Styx (Please listen to Big Bang Theory by Styx, that album's magnificent).
