Almost missed to post! Had my final day on my old ward today. I don't miss a single thing but my older colleague S., who'll be all alone without me and M. now. I'm having ~~tomorrow~~ (wait, it's already today here!) off before nursing school starts on the first of September. So to say, it was also my last day as a nursing assistant. Crazy. But also cool AF. In other glad that it's finally over news, my mom has beaten Covid as her rapid test was finally negative today!
Mandatory Tadé boar shot for the penultimate day. What a month. This brush turned from stiff and stinky to supple and... even stinkier. Thanks Midnight Stag.
Had a bit more tugging and weepers than usual, so despite it being the penultimate day, I binned the blade after the shave. Maybe I should try one without a guard for the final shave of AA. But I also don't want to show up to nursing school with a nasty cut...

Another synthwave track. One of my personal "success songs". Every time something goes really well, I try to play this song. It's strange how music can give such joyful feelings to us - like straight up euphoria from certain tracks. Neon Knights from Black Sabbath was already shared by u/loudmusicboy and does the same for me. As does Don't stop believing by Journey. But I thought this was too generic and kitschy. This tune here? It's not too loaded with instruments, but it gives a nice progression of rhythms. It's somehow rewarding to finally hear this in my head. I'm now on a new path towards a different way of my life; wish me luck, sidetracked crew!
